Return Policy

Effective Date: September 27, 2025

1. Scope

This policy applies to all purchases made on vitumark.com and delivered within Tanzania.

2. Statutory 7-Day Cancellation (Online Orders)
  • You may cancel within 7 days of delivery (or agreement) if the goods haven’t been used in any form and you haven’t received any material benefit.

  • Refunds (product price + any standard delivery fee originally paid) are processed within 30 days after we receive and verify the returned goods.

  • Customer pays the direct cost of returning the goods.

  • Excluded: financial services, auctions, perishable/daily-consumption goods, custom-made items, services begun within 7 days, and other exclusions under Tanzanian law.

3. Defective or Damaged on Arrival (DOA)
  • If an item arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts, contact us within 72 hours of delivery (include photos/video and your order number).

  • We will repair or replace the item; if that’s not practical, we’ll issue a refund.

  • Transport costs: customers cover transport to our service point. If our inspection confirms a manufacturing defect or our delivery error, we may reimburse reasonable return transport or provide pickup where possible.

 
4. Non-Returnable Items
  • Opened/activated software or digital goods

  • Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., in-ear audio once opened)

  • Perishable/daily-consumption goods

  • Custom-made items

  • Products not in resalable condition (unless DOA)

 
5. How to Start a Return
  • Email shopping[at]vitumark.com or WhatsApp +255 715 842 928 within the return window.

  • We’ll send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions (drop-off or pickup if available).

  • Ship the item back and share proof of shipment.

  • After inspection, we’ll process a repair, replacement, or refund.

6. Refund Method & Timing
  • Refunds go to your original payment method.

  • 7-Day Cancellation: refund within 30 days of return.

  • DOA refunds: typically 7–14 business days after inspection.

7. Warranty
  • Unless stated on the product page, items are sold without manufacturer warranties. Where a manufacturer warranty exists, we’ll help you access it.

8. Changes to This Policy
  • We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
